Collaborating closely with the talented landscape designers at DDLA and Marlin Landscape, Signature Illumination Designs designed and installed a custom lighting solution that would set the tone for year-round living.
Our focus for this home was to create an elegantly casual yet deliberate ambiance that would make every evening soiree last as long as possible. We used a collection of specialty lighting techniques to highlight the unique features of the home and bring attention to the carefully thought-out landscape.
The up lights along the edge of the property expand the depth of the backyard while serving as a unique decorative element that adds character. We used up lights that produce a warm glow to create eye-catching focal points that enhance the texture of the landscape and encourage patrons to take in the full beauty of the natural environment.
Safety and accessibility are always top priorities for us when designing a lighting scheme. Along the shrubs, we installed modern path lights to gently guide visitors while they take a closer look at the unique landscape design.
For the entryway of the home, we installed a combination of lighting techniques to illuminate the architectural features and add a layer of security. We used up lights at the base of the home to cast intriguing shadows on the façade and bring attention to the elegant textures. The down lights ensure the property is properly illuminated without distracting from the architectural beauty of this modern home.
