Working closely with Hillwood Development Company from the early conceptual stage of this project, Signature Illumination Designs demonstrated the importance of working as a cohesive team to coordinate all of the intricate lighting details of a major construction program. A good example is this custom entry sign, where the landscape architect conceived a large gabion wall filled with chunks of glass instead of rock. The lighting designers at Signature were able to tastefully complement the architect’s vision by concealing the lighting equipment for the glass fully within the confines of the sign structure, then supplementing with small fixtures for illumination of the wall extensions on both sides of the sign.
